from Quilter to designer
It is with great surprise that I find myself a quilt designer. I am not an artist, can't draw a straight line, can't create something from a meaningful idea and therefore never considered I was a designer. But after publishing my own ideas in 2 books (Shortcut Sheets and Panel Play), creating a unique block (Talking Points), producing 60+ patterns and having been published in a magazine 5 times - I can now humbly admit that I am. Let me show you the path that took me from quilter to designer - and maybe find your inner designer. Presentations can be in person when our travel schedule permits. However Zoom is a wonderful way to still share ideas and show quilts and geographically can be anywhere.
Via Zoom, I provide meeting details and you invite your people to participate at a given time for about 1 hour. I share my screen and talk thru my presentation 'From Quilter to Designer'. I will have images of the quilts I normally bring to the trunk show. The cost is $200. Each participant will receive a $5 coupon which can be applied to online purchases.
In-person trunk show costs $500 plus travel. |
