Shortcut Sheets are a series of 8 unique methods to make multiple units at the same time - the only tool needed is a regular 24" quilting ruler. Half Square Triangles, Quarter Square Triangles, Flying Geese, Hunter's Star, Hourglass, Triangle in a Square and Six Point Star are currently available. Talking Points is a block design - a zigzag every 2" gives 12 wedge shaped pieces. The block is made by paper piecing using preprinted foundation paper uniquely printed on both sides so you can make either the regular block or the mirror block from the same paper.
Designing with Talking Points is fun! Flip your block, mirror it, change the colors from graduating (light to dark) or alternating (light and dark) to completely change the 'look' for totally unique results. All the samples in the slides are made with 4 blocks and 8 borders. Dramatic differences are due to fabric selection, block and border orientation and border color. |
