All 8 Shortcut Sheet methods are included with this pattern. 7 of them are used to make the quilt, the 8th is optional and can be made into a coordinating pillow (Hunter's Star method). The pattern is divided into parts so learn one method at a time. These are part of the quilt block:
- Half Square Triangles
- Quarter Square Triangles
- Hourglass
- Flying Geese
- Triangle in a Square
- Four Patch
- Six Point Star
The block also has a mirror version. The quilt is designed with 5 fabrics - we recommend Northcott gradations because all the different color values in each fabric give more of a scrappy look to the finished quilt. Final size fits a queen bed (88" x 108"). It can be made larger by adding background fabric to the sides.
