Seven Sisters is a very old pattern so named because seven six-point star blocks can be arranged in such a way that the star points touch eachother forming a circle. This is a group quilt, where guild members or friends can each make 10 identical 8" star blocks, and then swop with eachother until everyone has all the available color combinations. Shortcut Sheet techniques are used to make the six-point star blocks. there are different layout options based on 10, 20, 30 or 40 star blocks.
