"I applaud the ideas you have for making many block pieces at one time.  I would prefer to not work with so many bias pieces though.  They stretch and almost impossible to press.  It still turned out to be a beautiful quilt.  It would also help if the instructions were more clear on how many pieces to make of each block. I screwed up early on and made too many of some blocks.  - Mandy, Northfield MN.

I enjoyed doing the quilt immensely. It took me about 2 1/2 months working at least an hour or two every day. What worked well for me was the size of the blocks. They are bigger than any of the similar patterns I have done which made it easier. It also helped that I had made some quilts using the short cut sheet method. Once you have used the method a few times it becomes easy. What is important is to make sure your quarter inch foot is true. Carla explains how to check that.
Also double check the size of each block to make sure it is right and centered. This will make the whole quilt come together easily and well. It felt good to take my time and do it properly. I also am happy with how the quilt has been quilted. It has all come together beautifully. - Anja, Brighton ON.
